Gathering information for the project and working with sound recordist Lee Dorrington, I set up stall at Forfar Farmer's Market and asked the public for their views on farming. I asked for recollections and opinions. People were very open in talking about their memories, and it was particularly interesting to hear the experiences of the adults who went tattie howking and berry picking as children. Farmers in Perthshire generously recorded their recollections and opinions about farming in the recent past and also their views on where it is going today.
